Annual publications

The Family Resources Survey publishes an annual report which summarises the results of the full survey year.

The following reports are available online:

1 Prior to 2001-02 this section was called 'Income and benefit receipt'. It was renamed when Tax Credits were introduced.
2 Prior to 2008-09 this section was called 'Tenure and Household Rent', and prior to 2006-07 it was called 'Tenure and Housing Costs'. Several GB tables were dropped as it is not possible to have a consistent definition of housing costs across the UK (click here for a little more information on this) . Following consultation with users it was agreed there was no user need for the tables.
3 Prior to 2008-09 this section was called 'Savings and Assets', and prior to 2006-07 it was called 'Assets and Savings'. These were merely wording changes.
4 Prior to 2004-05 this section was called 'Carers'. Several new tables showing disability were introduced from 2004-05.

Family Resources Survey (FRS) Publication Usage Survey 2009-10

The Family Resources Survey team are undertaking a publication usage survey to capture data about the users of our publication with the aim of ensuring that the report continues to meet their needs.
