<title>Equality Information Report</title>

<description>DWP will publish the Equality Information Report in July 2013. This will be the third year that the report is published, in line with the Department’s compliance with the Equality Duty under the Equality Act 2010. The report will come as an update to the last year edition, having the same structure and format, and will contain Official Statistics. The exact date of publication will be announced later.</description>

<description>On 7 May 2013, DWP will publish an ad hoc statistical paper entitled 'Study into average civil compensation in mesothelioma cases: statistical note'. The paper will present the initial findings of a survey conducted on the average civil compensation levels that people with mesothelioma and  their dependants currently receive through the courts. The outcome of this ad hoc statistics paper, along with its full report due to be published late summer, will help to inform key figures for the introduction of the new mesothelioma payment scheme that was announced on 25 July 2012.</description>

<title>Publication of Official Statistics on the Work Programme</title>

<description>The next release of the Work Programme official statistics on referrals, attachments, job outcome payments and sustainment payments will be on 27th June 2013 covering the period to the end of March 2013. In order to provide data to the end of the financial year in this release, publication has been put back from the previously announced date of 28 May 2013. From June the release of Work Programme official statistics will be more timely and frequent; within three rather than four months of the reporting period and on a quarterly basis aligned to financial year; with publications in September, December, March and June. <description>On 24 April 2013 DWP will publish two ad hoc statistics papers providing data and analysis which is used in the progress report for Social Justice: Transforming Lives. One paper will present data on total durations spent on working-age benefits in Great Britain over four year periods between 2006 and 2012. The second paper will present data on the number of children living with both birth parents, by age and incomes; and the estimated happiness of parental relationships.</description>
